Hi. After reviewing this ticket, I'm submitting my own. I am running WP 5.5, and Salient 12.1.1 (the latest version) and have the issue of whenever text is entered, it's backwards.
Deactivating plugins and reactivating changed nothing. I did add the "Enable jQuery Migrate Helper" plugin and it's now working properly. My question is that the jQuery plugin shows outdated scripts as a help to fix the issue going forward, and I am attaching what it's showing. I know you said it was fixed in 12.1.1, but it doesn't appear to be truly fixed.
I would like to be able to disable the plugin - is there something in the jquery I can remove, comment out or fix to make this work without the extra plugin?
Thanks for the Detailed info. Have noted to have the developer look into this and release a patch if needed. In the meantime, you can keep the plugin active.
Well, since our site requires woocommerce and a forms (we use gravity forms), we didn't deactivate those, but I would imagine if it worked with those before, it should work now? I"ll move to a staging site and deactivate every single thing, but I have to have woocommerce and forms. lol

Hey Again,

Also, we were not able to recreate the issue with just the Salient Theme and bundled plugins.
Did you deactivate all the Third party external plugins and still require the Jquery Migrate Plugin ?.
Thanks
