As you see on this site I have experimented with moving up a row so it overlaps, as seen on many websites. It is a pretty cool feature, but what happens is that it leaves a gap underneath. So, I need to other alter every single row and leave a big gap on the bottom, or, not use the overlapping option at all, which would be a shame.
Can you help me with how you have thought this to work properly? I believe this consequence with moving all rows up is not what is inteded...

Try using a Negative Top Margin in the Column Options to move it upwards as well:
