I just paid for and downloaded the salient theme. I followed the instructions: Wordpress > upload theme > located salient.zip (see attachment) and hit upload, but I get an error message: 'initiate_transfer_error' (see attached).
This is really strange. I am using standard Wordpress which I've signed into with a business account. I've changed the site from private to a staging site at Wordpress' recommendation, and I've followed the instructions you sent exactly. It now says problem installing theme.
Surely this should be a pretty standard upload? Given that I haven't changed any settings I just can't understand why this doesn't work. Could it be that it's on staging rather than live? But then I want to configure a site before I push it to live...

Hi Jodie,
Your PHP Settings are likely not correct.
Recommended PHP configuration limits are as follows:
Please have your hosting provider fix this for you so it can be installed correctly.
Hope this helps.
Hi Andrew, thanks for this. However Wordpress exceeds all of these settings: https://wordpress.com/support/php-environment/.
Any other ideas for things I can try?
Thanks!
Hi Jodie,
It is likely a server configuration issue and would like you to let your hosting provider know.

Update: I sent the file to Wordpress and it worked fine for them. No idea what's up on my side but all sorted. Thanks for your help!
