Hello, this just started happenning in the last weeks on my site www.freedomfunusa.com. A black bar started appearing in the header area and on pages where a single image was inserted into the header along with the parralex scroll feature checked - it caused the page text to be jumbled and unreadable (see attachments). When I unchecked parralex, the problem wasn't as bad , althought the image doesnt fill the complete page. Also , my online checkout is suddenly 1/2 way down the page as if there is something wrong in the header perhaps - creating additional space. https://freedomfunusa.com/make-a-reservation-austin
Any idea what issues with the header that could be causing this temporary black bar and formatting issues.
If you are using a Child Theme that has customizations in it then those files would need to be revised. A quick way to check is to switch to the Parent Theme and see if the issues are still there.
The current version of the theme is 12.1.2 and the current version of the page builder is 6.2. Salient versions older than v11 won't be compatible with WordPress 5.5.
Here's the documentation on the available methods for updating Salient: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/#methods Once, you've updated that, the update for the included page builder will become available. Note that "Visual Compser" also renamed their plugin on Envato to "WPbakery page builder" a couple of years back.
