AJAX page transitions will conflict usually with plugins that rely on javascript and the only way to resolve that would be through some reinitializing of the needed JS after the AJAX load .But in your case you are saying that it is still not working when you deactivate all plugins. Could you please provide the wp-admin login details so we can take a look.
Hey Morten, something with your setup seems to be disrupting the ajax call completely - I'm seeing 404's in the console when trying to use it while switching pages, if you're sure no plugins were effecting it, something could be blocking it on your server. I'm still investigating further as this is the first time I've seen such behavior on a users setup
I just tried it one more time. And this time, deactivating Jetpack worked. The problem is, we rely on Jetpack, so do you know of any settings in Jetpack that can be disabled for the transitions to work?
I assume that a specific module inside of jetpack is causing this rather than the use of jetpack as a whole - can you try to deactivate the modules you have on in that plugin to see which one might be the colprit?
The ""WordPress.com Stats" part of Jetpack is what causes the issue, why and how to work around it, I don't know. We use this feature to track our traffic, so we really need it to be active.
The next update will include new options for AJAX transitions one being the ability to switch the method from actual AJAX to Simulation AJAX which will look almost identical from your point of view but will end up loading each page the same as it does without AJAX so all plugins will still function normally. Please stay turned - the next update is due out in 1-2 weeks :)
For now I've disabled it, but when I try to use the AJAX transition feature it can't seem to load any pages.
Hey Morten!
Could you please try deactivating jetpack and check if it fixes the issue. Try deactivating other third party plugins as well.
Thanks

hmm jetpack wasn't the problem. I'll try to go through other plugins as well

I've updated to your latest version 4.5.2
Tried deactivating all the plugins, but it still doesn't work.
All it leaves me with is a blank page with a tiny smiley in the upper left hand corner??
I don't really know what else to do.
Morten
Seems like you got it sorted as i can see the website now.
Thanks

No, I've disabled it. I can't really have it active, then visitors won't be able to navigate the site.
So the problem hasn't been resolved.

hmm, that's strange. I can try and disable the plugins one more time, just to double check.
And thank you for taking the time.

Alright, I'll try that :)
I found it!
