I have been using Salient for years now, it's been great and have not had any major issues until just recently when I updated the theme and wordpress respectively.
Specifically, the use of columns on most of my pages are no longer working as they should. For example, some of the pages on my website should be divided into 2/3 and 1/3 columns within 1 row and instead, it is being rendered as 1/1 column per row. Basically my columns are being stacked as if they were stuck in a responsive mobile size setting (please see attached screenshots).
- I have cleared my cache (browser and database - I have disabled and enabled my plugins to see if there are any conflicts, and the problem persists.
Could you please advise how I can get my columns to work again?
Could you allow us to log in to your website backend dashboard so we can check on this for you more?. We are gonna need the username and password of admin user as well as the login url.
Sorry for the late turn around. We can get overwhelmed sometimes by the number of tickets.
You seem to be using a Really Old Salient Theme Version as well as the Ultimate Addons which could be causing the issue.
Please update to the Latest Salient Theme Version.
The current version of the theme is 12.1.2 and the current version of the page builder is 6.2. Salient versions older than v11 won't be compatible with WordPress 5.5.
Here's the documentation on the available methods for updating Salient: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/#methods Once, you've updated that, the update for the included page builder will become available. Note that "Visual Compser" also renamed their plugin on Envato to "WPbakery page builder" a couple of years back.
Thank you for your reply. I thought that I had the latest theme installed. But I suppose I am mistaken. For my future reference, how can I tell which version I have installed?

You can setup the Envato Market Plugin in the WP Dashboard which would let you know if there is an update available or not.
Thanks

Looks like that did the trick. Thank you so much for the guidance!
