I've been using Salient for years - and used it to create my online portfolio before 'portfolio' was a post type/category.  I love how the portfolio functionality works and would love to convert all of the 'posts' that I created to 'portfolio' items. Is there an easy way to do this, or do I have to go in and recreate all of my portfolio pages?

I"m not sure you understood my question. I am able to duplicate a post, that's not the issue.

I created my portfolio before Salient had the PORTFOLIO option. I would like to somehow convert the POSTS to PORTFOLIO entries. Is there a way to do that?

Thank you. That did indeed move my POSTS to PORTFOLIO, but in doing so, deleted all of the content on those 'posts'. Any idea how to get the content back?

I ended up reverting to a saved version of my site and will just do this manually.

That said, when I create a new Portfolio item - and then try to view the page, I get a 404 error.  Any idea why it won't show up?
