On my necter slider, i have 2 buttons, if i give a url within the page, no problem, but when i try to link to another page, the address is "prefixed" with the permalink, and therefore stays on the page, and does not take one to the intended link. How do you bypass the permalink to navigate outside the page?
Also, can i have fewer than 2 buttons or more than 2 buttons on a slide?

    Hey Thom!

You will likely have to use the full url of the page including the domain to link to that other page.

As regards the button i am afraid we dont have an option of adding more then two at the moment.

    Thanks

    Thanks Tahir,

I was using the full url, as in http://www.riseoftheviceroys.com first i thought it needed to be prefaced with a "?" or some other symbol, no matter how i put it in, it would indicate it was going to www.spellsandlasers/www.riseoftheviceroys.com down in the bottom left(you know, where the browser is telling you where it is headed) and this just lead back to www.spellsandlasers.com, i cleared the cache, deleted histories....

I did all sorts of copying and pasting the full url, from the web itself, clearing the field and typing new, etc, etc... i am not sure why i experienced this bug, rather than use it, i just opted for the full slide as a link option, i think i did this before you even had a chance to look at the problem.
So what i have now works, but it does raise a point to be able to customize the slides. I can understand the nesting and potentially recursive problems of customizable slide objects, because this would lead to adding widgets or other short code items to slides, and other features, so i wont be holding my breath for an update of this type ;^)

Anyway, just seeing if anyone else had this problem.

Thanks for such a nice theme overall, i am sure this is just a php>wp>myserver>theme>php>wp problem that i was experiencing for some not so obvious reason like a funny cache discrepancy or something, i guess i could try it again and see if i get the same problem then send you a note so you can see for yourself? but i am sure you have more pressing matters at hand, and I don't want to be a bother for something that is fine now.

    Hey Thom!

Anyway you could allow me to log in so I could check on this for you? I just tested this myself on a local setup and couldn't replicate the issue.

    Cheers
