Hi I have just been made aware of a severe vulnerability to my sites through wp bakery builder. I can see that the current salient installation is using version 6.1. How can I get my sites up to speed and patched urgently to ensure they are safe?
Please update to the Latest Salient Theme Version, which fixes the Vulnerability fix. Be sure to update the WPbakery Page Builder after the Theme Update as well.
Salient v12.1.3 (10/7/2020)
Salient versions older than v11 won't be compatible with WordPress 5.5.
Here's the documentation on the available methods for updating Salient: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/#methods Once, you've updated that, the update for the included page builder will become available. Note that "Visual Compser" also renamed their plugin on Envato to "WPbakery page builder" a couple of years back.
