Hello. I'm looking at buying your Salient theme. It looks great and includes everything that I need for my site. I have a couple of questions regarding setting up a child theme:
When I create a child theme for my CSS edits to the Slient parent theme, can I call the child theme whatever I want, or must if refer to Salient in the name. For example 'Salient-mychildtheme'.
I would prefer that if visitors check the source code, the theme name is something different and not Salient. I don't want poeople to see that I've used an off-the-shelf theme (however good).
If the child theme does have a different name that does not refer to Salient in it, can any updates that are released for Salient still be applied to Salient and therefore the child theme. I'm guessing yes as it will be linked at the top of the CSS, but please can you confirm.
I'm probably making things far more complicated than they need to be, but I prefer to check before I start.

Hey Claire!
The child theme can be named anything . Salient does include a child theme which you can rename.
