I'm trying to fix the formatting on the section beneath the slider. I used the 1/4 + 1/2 + 1/4 row. The 1/2 section keeps overlapping the first 1/4. You can see the blog overlapping the grey color.
Also, there is an indentation on the far left of row, but none on the far right of the row. The row type is Full Width Content.
Can anyone tell me how I can fix these items? Thanks!
Please take a backup of your theme folder before you update so that if there are any changes made to the theme files they are not lost.
You can update your theme by downloading a fresh copy from ThemeForest, deleting the current version you have on your server and uploading the new.
It's recommended that you use FTP, but this also can be done with the WP dashboard if you prefer. The reason FTP is superior for this is because the theme won't have to be deactivated during the process so you won't have to reassign your widgets. If you're
interested in keeping up to date with the latest changes and fixes, please refer to the changelog: http://themenectar.com/changelogs/salient.html
Also, remember to clear your browser cache after each update if you notice anything off. Old theme files can persist in your local cache and make you think something's wrong.
Also please see this FAQ: http://themenectar.ticksy.com/faq/2252 .
The issues is occuring as you are adding a fullwidth row inside a 6 span column therefore it is overlapping . Please switch it to standard section . See screenshot for ref: http://prntscr.com/49t456 .
If I change the Blog section to Masonry Blog, no sidebar, the formatting is still messed up. When I make that change, then it changes the width of the blog posts and creates a ton of white space inside of that column. So no matter what options I chose, the formatting is off. See attached screen shot. I need it to look as it does now, without the overlapping, and the extra white space on the far left of the screen. Thanks.
Wow, that's not even close to what we want. So it's not possible at all, regardless that the screen is wide enough to have a two column side by side blog. This makes the page super long, which defeats the entire purpose of limiting the blog to just two posts on the home page. I find that to be very disappointing and really limits the amount of layouts you can do with this theme.
The blog isn't even centered in the middle column, and it only takes up HALF of the space allocated still. There is still a ton of white space on the right hand side of that column that could easily fit a second stack of blog posts.
Hey Tess, sorry for the delay - what was needed to make this work was a javascript mod to allow the column number to change to two when used in a column as you had it :)
Fantastic! Thank you so much. I see the mod now. It's exactly what we needed. I knew there was some modification that could be made since the content wasn't filling up the full column. I just couldn't figure out where to make it. Thanks for resolving this. I appreciate it.

I just updated the theme, and the formatting issue still persists. This did not fix it.

In VC I created a full width content row. I didn't create anything that is 6 span. So what settings do I need to change in VC?
This is how the page is set up in VC.

Please provide wp-admin login user/pass in a private response so we can take a look.
