I have a site with several portfolio pages. Each of the portfolio pages uses an Image Gallery (layout is Image Grid).
When I first create a portfolio page and add images to the image grid, it works like a charm. But the trouble is when I want to add more photos to the existing grid after it has been published.
When I go to Edit the Image Gallery, it has a + button to add more images. But this button does not seem to work correctly. (It opens the Media Library of all the photos already in the gallery, but I need to add new photos).
The client periodically has new photos to add to its portfolio pages. How do I add photos to a published image gallery?
You can use the above to login with admin permissions.
As an example of my issue, I tried to add more photos to the Image Gallery in the Portfolio item "Staircases." The attached screenshots show what happened.

Oh no. I went to the link you sent, and it had the option to "Update" the plugins. So I hit update. But now it says those plugins are not even installed! And when I click "Install" it says "the destination folder already exists."
The original problem of not being able to add new photos to an Image Gallery is still a problem. It is behaving the same as before. It does not look fixed.
Were you able to rule out a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Hey Again,
Your server is likely timing out, which is why this issue was caused. Have manually installed both salient core and WPbakery Plugin.
Please check now .
Thanks

Thank you for getting those plugins re-installed.

Hey Again,
Please contact your hosting provider so they can look into these browser console errors:

My hosting provider says he cannot see this error on his end. I'm not sure how it was pulled up, so I can't check it.
Are you still seeing these errors?
Hey Again,
The Browser console error is visible when you edit the Image Gallery in here: https://bedrockhomestx.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=4722&action=edit.
