    Hello,

How do I control the menu appearing when you scroll down further along the page? I want the menu background on most pages to be white and then also white when you scroll but I cannot seem to find any settings for this.

On the homepage the header is working correctly. It is transparent and then when you scroll the background turns white. But I can't seem to have it white and white when you scroll on the other pages.

    Thanks,

    Aoife

    Hey Again,

Try using the Force Transparency Option in "Page Header Settings" Metabox . See screenshot : http://prntscr.com/gjnyit .

    Hi Tahir,

That works for when I scroll down. However I DO NOT want the header to be transparent before I scroll down. I want it with a white background and dark text at the top of the page and exactly the same when I scroll down.

    How can I do this?

    Thanks,

    Hey Again,

There is a Disable Transparency Option available as well?. Did you try using it?.

    Thanks

Yes Tahir, I have done that and the opposite happens. So it doesn't help the situation.

    Hey Again,

You can also turn off the Transparent Header Option in Salient Theme Options Panel-> Header Navigation Section?.

    Thanks

No I can't turn off this option  because I still need the homepage to have a transparent header.

Usually there are controls over the scrolling header background in the theme settings? Is there no option for this in the template?

Actually Tahir I just tried some CSS and it's actually worked. So that's fine. I just presumed it was a setting I was missing.

Thanks for looking into it for me.
