Can I enable smooth scrolling exclusively for Windows? Scrolling truly is awful on Windows and I can appreciate why you implemented it. But I want to keep it disabled on Mac because Mac scrolling has always been better than the smooth scrolling feature.
So either enable for Windows or disable for Mac.
I've copied over the niceScrollInit function into my child theme's init.js, I'm just not sure how to change it to be platform specific. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I actually implemented a high performing smooth scroll in v4.5+ specifically for Chrome that will kick in when the nicescrolling is off in the theme options panel - Since Firefox already has native smooth scrolling and Chrome is the other most popular browser this will ensure the UX on those two browsers is amazing no matter the OS. Unfortunately there's no reliable way that I know of to target Windows vc Mac versions of browsers so I would recommend just turning the nicescroll off as I did on the most recent demo: themenectar.com/demo/salient-ascend/

Ah, well that explains a great deal. I was only testing on IE in Windows. It's worse than Android scrolling!
