I'm using the Salient theme in a special way. Instead of using the "portfolio" to show art projects like an agency, I'm using it as more of a "product archive". See example page here: http://syrenusa.wpengine.com/project-type/field-gu...

I want to change the "project-type" to say "product" instead. Is this possible?

Also, on this portfolio page: http://syrenusa.wpengine.com/shotguns/

I want to change it from saying "Sort Portfolio" to say "Sort Products" instead.

Are these possible? I figured I may be able to change the code but then it would be overwritten with an update. Can I add a custom CSS that won't get overwritten instead?

Thanks Tahir. I found the way to change the portfolio slug, but it was the link in the url (permalink?) that I wanted to change. Can this be done?

For example I want this url: syrenusa.wpengine.com/project-type/field-guns/

To say /syrenusa.wpengine.com/gun-type/field-guns/  (change "project-type" to "gun-type")
