I went to my site today to find it 'broken' - text is aligned left, in list form. On further inspection it seems it's something to do with the theme. I was trying to work through the troubleshooting steps of updating/reinstalling the theme, I do have the latest version of wordpress. When I go to THEMES, the salient theme doesn't appear to be acting properly. The customize button takes me to a black screen. There aren't the usual options to deativate. When I try to upload a theme to install a freshly downloaded version, the upload button does nothing when I click it.
Hoping you can help... my site is completely not functional right now!!

UPDATE: I think I have fixed this. There was a plugin (Amazon AWS CDN) that seemed to be interacting with salient.
Please contact your hosting provider and have them look into this, it's possible your WP Core Version was updated automatically, which has caused this issue.
Also try updating the Theme Via FTP.
The current version of the theme is 12.1.4 and the current version of the page builder is 6.4.1. Salient versions older than v11 won't be compatible with WordPress 5.5.
Here's the documentation on the available methods for updating Salient: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/#methods Once you've updated that, the update for the included page builder will become available. Note that "Visual Composer" also renamed their plugin on Envato to "WPbakery page builder" a couple of years back.
