Dear support team, could you help me out with a silly issue?
Maybe you could give me a hint on how to set up the website to force the featured image of a page/portfolio item to be used when sharing a link from the website?
Most of the time no picture gets generated at all, but when sharing the main page on social networks - only one picture from the news list (portfolio) is generated and that is not even the most recent news item. I can't find a way to solve this, thus your support would be highly appreciated!
To set your Featured Image, scroll down in your page or post underneath the Publish button. There you'll see a link that says Set featured image. Clicking it will bring you to your media library where you can either upload something new or choose an image you already have on your website.
Maybe I was misunderstood: I know how to set the featured image :)
The issue is, that when I share any link of any page from the website, the thumbnail is not generated no matter where I share it even though the featured image is set. My question was: how to force the generation of thumbnail from featured image?
