Activating Salient crashes entire Wordpress install

    When I try to activate the Salient theme, it makes the entire Wordpress install unresponsive. I am unable to access the wp-admin directory after activation.

    Wordpress 3.9.2

    Salient 4.5.1

    Please upload a fresh copy of Salient via ftp and then activate .

    Same result as using the Wordpress backend.

    I would prefer to have a refund for this theme. Are you able to send the refund via the themeforest platform?

    Hey Andy!

    Please contact [email protected] if you wish to get a refund. Though if you would like us to figure out why its not working for you . Please provide wp-admin login details and ftp details so we can take a look. We have had no earlier reports of such an issue so would like to find out.

    Unfortunately, we simply do not have the time to troubleshoot your theme and would like to continue with the refund process. As a courtesy, I've attached a copy of the error log to this comment.

    From the error log, You have the Wp bakery Raw plugin activated in the plugins menu. Please deactivate it and activate the theme. Salient Uses its own embedded Visual composer.

    I am also having this issue. I have had it before on a previous site and somehow managed to fix it (I believe through myphpadmin either by increasing ram or by deactivating plugins) but this time I keep getting the error. I don't have much technical knowledge but I would like this theme to be up and working. Please help.

    Since this is a very old ticket and Salient has undergone so many changes since this issue was posted, I would request you open a new ticket and describe to us your issue. You can share with us a short video of how you are reproducing the issue so that we are able to get a better understanding of your issue.
