Hello, I've never had this issue on another theme, but I can not seem to find any way to STOP the title section from showing up / filling space. Usually there is page option to toggle off the title section if you do not wish to use it but for the life of me, I can not find it.

I figure I must be missing a setting somewhere on the Salient theme's page settings? 

I've tried every workaround I can think of and though the background is now the same color as the page, and it's set to only be 1px high,  on certain screen sizes it still creates a huge space that pushes the page content down.

All of those suggested changes have been double checked but even with no content, a page title space is being added to pages and causing spacing issues. I can "work around it" by adding padding or margins by screen size, but it would be much better if the content automatically started below the nav bar with no spacing added for a non-existent page title section. (See below for screenshot of unused title area taking up space / effecting sections below it)

Also, if I don't set the page title height to 1px on the page settings, it is massive. 

Any other tips/ideas?
