Am in process of changing my old travel theme to Salient and most all is fine and dandy. Except perhaps the fact that I did all of my DESTINATION GUIDES as pages in the old theme and don´t know or understand how I am able to publish this in Salient. Only post categories are on offer if using WPBakery which I use a lot. How would I go about publishing pages instead of posts? For example if I want to make a teaser slider on the landing page or dedicate a special area to destination guides only?
You will have to use this plugin or similar to convert the pages to posts and then use the available Blog Page Elements and the Styling options : https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-type-switcher/ .
