I have installed the sailent responsive theme and imported a demo called Ecommerce-creative. I have also imported the video I want to use for the home slider and published it, but home slider didn't work. I keep seeing the default slider displayed. Please see attached screenshot of the default home slider being displayed instead of my own.

Try using the Nectar Slider as the Home Slider is deprecated and is only meant for users updating from older versions of the Salient Theme.
