I'm looking to add phone and email details to the header. I'm aware I can use the secondary nav for this but this method either adds a coloured bar to the top of the site which can impact on the design of the site or, if I match the colour of the header, it adds to the depth of the header, which I'd also like to avoid.
Many themes have an option to add this content just above the main nav but still inline with the logo, utilising the available space. Is there any way I can achieve something similar via css?
I appreciate you can just tell me to go and use another theme but Salient has been my choice of theme since 2017 because I love it's simplicity and the level of support you guys provide so I'm very reluctant to switch.
This is not possible at the moment because even though you can use css to move it down and give it a transparent background so that the logo is visible, the content of the secondary header will be on top of the menu mega menu items.
