    Seems to go to your local install rather than a web address:

    Thanks for letting us know. The Home Slider has been deprecated. Try using the Nectar Slider instead: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/nectar-slider-plugin/ .

    I'm not trying to use the slider, I'm trying to use Salient documentation. The problem appears to be with the documentation, not use of the wrong slider.

    However, your reply raises a potential 2nd problem: If "Home Slider" should never be used, should instructions be updated to reflect this?

    Please let me know if either issue is still unclear.

    The Documentation gets updated constantly. We have a new Major Update coming which will improve/update the Documentation as well. 

    Have noted to correct the issue you highlighted at the earliest.
