For some reason, and all of a sudden, I can't save any of my created pages or elements as my own templates - I get a gray "stop" sign/barrier over the Save changes button and it won't allow me to click it - and won't save.
I am using 12.9 (beta) and thought that was it, but the same thing is happening in 12.1.6
I'm in your amazing theme every day and have been using it for years, I love it, and have had no issues - and have saved templates before without any problem.
Please update the WPbakery Page Builder Plugin along with the Theme To fix the issue. Also, you can press the "Enter" Button on the Keyboard to save the template as well.
Please update to the Latest Salient Theme Version.
The current version of the theme is 12.1.6 and the current version of the page builder is 6.4.2. Salient versions older than v11 won't be compatible with WordPress 5.5.
Here's the documentation on the available methods for updating Salient: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/#methods Once you've updated that, the update for the included page builder will become available. Note that "Visual Composer" also renamed their plugin on Envato to "WPbakery page builder" a couple of years back.
Thanks for starting this topic! Currenty I have the same problem. My Salient theme is the latest version (currently 13.0.5) and WP is the latest version . Only the difference is that hitting the Enter key doesn't work.
Howdy!

Hi Max,
There is currently a bug which is being worked on by the developer. In the meantime press enter to save templates as a temporary solution.
