    HI

I have a client who is obsessed with his lighthouse speed tests :(

Please can you tell me how to Remove the user-scalable="no" parameter?

    Many thanks

Also on the subject of speed. I am hosting my required fonts locally and have selected Load Font From Theme. However this is also loading the Open Sans Font. How can I stop / overide this?

    Thanks

    Hi Andrew

Thanks for the reply, but this is a really basic guide and I had asked two specific questions that I was hoping to get a technical reply to:

    1. Please can you tell me how to Remove the user-scalable="no" parameter?

    2.  I am hosting my required fonts locally and have selected Load Font From Theme. However this is also loading the Open Sans Font. How can I stop / overide this?

look forward to hearing from you

    Many thanks

    Hey Again,

    - To remove the Meta Tag you will have to edit the "header.php" file via a Child Theme.

    - The Default Theme Font is Open Sans therefore you would have to use "Do not use Default Font" Option.

    Thanks

    Thanks Tahir

Obviously with the Google update in May coming, page performance is going to be key.

One of the main things reported is Avoiding Large Layout Shifts

Im finding that this is being reported even though we do not use overlays on the site:

    <div class="row-bg-overlay">

It is reported for every row.

Is there a way we can stop this or remove it?

    Many thanks

    Hey Fraser,

The upcoming release of Salient has improved the CLS issues across the board. If you'd like to test it out before the official release,  you can download the theme here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nanvg2en35fb9cs/salient.zip?dl=0

If you're still getting warnings for CLS after updating the theme and included plugins, please share the relevant URL so that I can take a look.

    Cheers

    HI

Whilst Ive got your attention, can I ask for a feature request?

Can you add a 3 widget area for the secondary header bar. (Top Right, Top Center, Tope Left)

Its a feature i would really love.

    Many thanks
