    Hi! Love your theme and been using it for several years already. Have now noticed that the search option (the magnifying glass one) is not working on mobile site version. When I tap on the magnifying glass icon (regardless on which mobile device or browser) the search field appears, but not the keyboard that would allow to type anything in. One more tap and the search field disappears. I have found no way to enter anything into the field, in this form the search is not usable. I also have no clue how this can be fixed. Search works just fine on the desktop.

    Please, could you tell me what I can do to fix the issue and make search work on mobile again?

    I am not able to replicate the same issue on iPhone from my end.

    Hi Andrew, the issue happens only on mobile phones, the cache is cleared and the website is as optimised as was possible to do given its non-commercial nature. I have tried it on at least 3 different iphone models and one Huawei phone - it is the same everywhere. The search field appears, but no keyboard to enter search terms. Any attempt to tap anywhere, inside the search field or outside closes the field. The screen always looks like on the attached screenshot - visible search field, but no keyboard to use it. Can you please try use the search on my website while accessing it on a mobile phone? I've recruited several friends with different phones to test it and it hasn't worked a single time. And I have no idea what causes it, since I haven't installed any new plugins or changed any settings on the website.

    Hey Again,

    That's Weird as i can see the Keyboard on my Huawei Device. Please wait for the Page to Load 100% and then click on the Search Icon.

    Try using the Optimization plugins recommended in this Article http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/performance-optimization-guide/ and check if that makes a difference .

    Thank you for the previous reply. I couldn't fix the issue. The keyboard still does not appear when trying to use the magnifying glass search feature on mobile. On iphones (I can test it on 10 and 13) it doesn't work.

    Your suggestion with waiting till the site is 100% loaded unfortunately doesn't change anything. Clearing the chache didn't help either. And the suggestion with optimizing the website is too general.

    I was kinda hoping the issue would go away with your version 13 update, but it didn't. I get it that you don't have time to provide free support, so I purchased a six months support extension at envato. Can I ask you to really look into the issue?

    I am not a tech person and don't have web development or design or coding experience. I am at my wits' end, all I know is that the search just doesn't work, and I don't know what may be causing it. I haven't installed any new plugins in a very long time, so it can't be it. And I haven't changed anything within the theme or design options either.

    Please, try to replicate it on an iphone, in a safari or google search app as I am trying to. If you'd like to log in and take a look from the inside, I can create a login for you.

    I would be very grateful if you could help me out here!
