colour overlay on image?

    Hi

    I see the option to have a colour overlay on video, but how do I choose this for a static image? 

    Would be good to be able to control the opacity also?

    Can you please specify which image are you exactly trying to add a color overlay ?.

    Hey Mal!

    There is a background image option in there but not an overlay.  Can you provide the page url so i can try to write up some custom css.

    I am afraid the background image is already added as a css background so it cant be overlaid.

    so is there another way to get an overlay over an image if I was to set things up differently? In my simple understanding I'm not sure why it can be done for video and not photo ;)

    if not, i guess once I've decided what image to use, I'll have to add the coloured overlay manually in photoshop...

    I am afraid it cant be done . The reason it works for video is because the video is not inline. Hope this helps.
