I have a static home page, and have an empty page - called test-blog-page - set as the posts page in Settings>Reading
When I click View on the Posts page in Dashboard>Pages it shows White screen.
When I change Settings>Reading to show Latest posts instead of Static home page, it shows white screen.
I've tried turning off all the plugins.
Salient Blog settings set to various options - currently Standard Blog No Sidebar > Classic > Classic
Doesn't seem to be a memory limit problem (I have 512MB set, with 24MB used)
Running Salient 12.1.6 installed February last year by uploading zips and updated via Envato Market plugin, running on WPEngine with a staging site copy - same on both.
Pretty sure the posts page has always been like this, but I haven't needed it until now.
I saw you suggest reinstalling Salient somewhere. Nervous about breaking something by doing that. If I were to re-install, what would be the best way to do that?
Seems this page is blank. There is not element in the page. Since this is a page and not a post it needs to be built using the wpbakery page builder pre-build layout .
I don’t understand how you mean - If it were just a normal empty page, it would show other salient elements like the header, but it’s just totally blank as per screenshot.
It was created as a normal page and set as the wp system posts page using Settings > Reading.
So it should be showing the homepage for all my blog posts.
If I turn off the setting to make it the post page in Settings > Reading - by setting that menu to blank and then going back to this page URL, it shows as a normal blank page with header. I have made that change for you to see.
But as soon as you set it as the Posts page in Settings > Reading, it shows blank with no header.
What I need is for it to show the WP posts page - ie the system homepage for all blog posts.
But something is broken that means it’s showing a totally blank white screen instead of either the normal page (with header etc) or the wp system posts page, which is what it should be showing.
Again, for ease I have just turned off the setting that makes it the WP system post page and you can see when you click here that it is a normal page:

Or any other suggestions for things to try?

Feel free to change Setting > Reading back to make Test Blog Home into the wp system Posts page and watch it break again.
Thanks
Hey Again, Hope you had a Positive Weekend,
Keep the Posts Page as Unselected in here and use the "Blog" Page element to display the posts as per your liking in here: https://watchandreplay.staging.wpengine.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=410&action=edit
Thanks
