I was wondering if you have a tutorial or information on how I could customize the Single Product page that Salient uses to make it look more like what users see when they go to this link here: https://woocommerce.com/products/product-video-for-woocommerce/

As shown in the image, I'd like to have the Buy button on the right and some tables underneath of it showing Additional Information and some details. It does not look like Salient allows for custom product page designs.

    Hey Again,

Yes, that's correct as Salient does not have an option to have a custom design for the product single pages however the Page Builder is supported in the Description Tab. The Custom Design would have to be done via PHP template edits.

    Thanks

Which PHP template file would i need to edit?

It would be ideal if i could just assign a custom template within the Product page itself but i know that is currently not supported. I'm comfortable editing the php file, however could you point me to which one i would need to edit please?

@John Martini - just wondering if the Code Snippets plugin might help you?

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/

It might be a safer way that editing/change core PHP files, or running a child theme.

@Tahir would you be able to specify which php file I would edit to achieve this look? I have built WP websites from scratch before, I'm just not sure in this case where i would modify it in the Salient theme itself.

Koma...how would the code snippets help though? It appears i need to override almost the entire page layout though.

@John Martini - you need to look into it but from my understanding it negates the need for maintaining a child theme.

Btw, I no longer have an interest in Salient as we're not using it for our project.
