Different font for Polish special characters

    Hi there!

I've started using Salient theme and so far I love it, great job! :)

However, I have two problems, which I'm struggling with and I hope you can help me to solve them.

    1) From what I saw, the theme is using 'Open Sans Light' font in some places. Unfortunately, this font doesn't handle special characters in Polish. It looks like they're displayed in a different font (please see print screen attached). I was trying to overwrite css rules for certain headings, but I keep seeing it over and over again in new places. Is there a way to fix it for good? Alternatively, how can I change this font globally to something else (e.g. Open Sans Condensed)?

    2) My second problem is related to translations. I am using Codestyling Localization plugin and I've translated for example the "More details" button which is displayed on portfolio items. However, somehow this translation doesn't work. I can still see "More details" instead of Polish translation.

    Thanks again for great theme!

    BR,

    Tomek

    Hey Tomek!

    1) You can change the fonts in Salient Options -> Typography Settings .

    2) Can you scan the theme and check if there are some missing strings .

    Thanks

    Hey Tahir,

    thanks for your help.

    Ad.1

Turns out there was a checkbox in Salient Options -> Typography Settings, "Load Ext. Characters in Default Font" which I haven't noticed until now... Sometimes the easiest solutiosn are the hardest to find ;)

The problem is I've already translated the phrase "More Details" and generated the .mo file, but somehow still I cannot see the proper Polish translation.

    Hey Again!

Are you not able to get all translations to work or just this particular word ?. Also the .mo files needs to be moved to Salient/lang folder.

    Thanks
