Hello Salient Support, I've been trolling the internet to find out a solution to my problem. I'm using your nectar slider and have uploaded a WebM and an MP4 file and can't seem to get it to work in Safari. It works great in Chrome but no luck with Safari. Do you have any fancy solutions for this. I read that someone toggled the preferences in Safari but this hardly seems like a solution. I'm getting the black background of doom for where the video should play. HELP!

    Hi Barry,

    Thanks for keeping in touch.

    Where is the video located?

    Thanks.

    Hi Barry,

Try passing the Video through the online convertors and reset it: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/page-builder-row/#video-background

    Thanks

Hi Judith, I've renamed the file... I also turned off all the plugins and still nothing. So I tried a different approach. It seems like it's something to do with the Wordpress media library. I downloaded your video-test.mp4 and uploaded it to my media gallery. It works if the file path is what you supplied: http://themenectar.com/videos/video-test.mp4 but if I have my media library path with the exact same file, then I get the blank black video screen. That tells me it's not the video but it's the media library that is causing the issue. I even get the same Media Error with your file when uploaded into my media section. What do I do now?

    Hi Barry,

Please allow me to escalate this to the developer to add in response.

    Thanks.

    Hey Again,

Please contact your hosting provider and check to see if they allow uploading MP4 files.

    Thanks

    Helo Tahir,

So it turns out that my particular hosting package does not support MP4 files so I simply uploaded the video to another server that does and Voila!!!! it works. So the issue is a GoDaddy hosting issue and it seems they want everyone to host their videos on YouTube or Vimeo. Thank you for your help.
