Hi there, I'm looking for general advice/approach... My Salient site is currently a one-page site for my business. I want to add a simple blog w/sidebar to the site, but I don't want the blog content/page to be displayed as part of the one-page. I want the nav "BLOG" button on the main page to take the visitor to the blog in a new page, and from that new blog page I would like a (different) navigation header that will bring them back to the main page) or perhaps no navigation buttons at all (since they could click the top left logo to return to the main site). Currently it seems my main header / nav buttons are applied to any page I create (but from the blog page, they don't make sense (nor currently work) as they 'custom link' to blocks not present in the Blog.

What would you do to achieve this using Salient?

Hi writeroxie,
Thanks for writing to us.
First you will have to ensure that the blog page is added to the settings section as shown below:
Then head to the menu section and check the checkbox indicating that it should open on a new page as shown below:
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
