It works, the headers do not show up anymore. But when I try to add an image on the top of the page using Visual Composer, it doesn't show up on the page. There's no way I can make the image show up.

Yes, but that would require changing other Js and css for the other elements as well. Therefore is not recommended. If you really need to change it please hire a freelancer over at Envato Studio for the Theme Customizations.
