woocommerce category transparent header

Right now, the header in the categories is pushing the transparent header down. I would like the category headers to match the parent header. Also, the product header to match as well. Basically, I need the same header across the entire site.

    Hey!

Please update to Salient Theme Version 4.5.22 .

Please take a backup of your theme folder before you update so that if there are any changes made to the theme files they are not lost.
You can update your theme by downloading a fresh copy from ThemeForest, deleting the current version you have on your server and uploading the new.
It's recommended that you use FTP, but this also can be done with the WP dashboard if you prefer. The reason FTP is superior for this is because the theme won't have to be deactivated during the process so you won't have to reassign your widgets. If you're
interested in keeping up to date with the latest changes and fixes, please refer to the changelog: http://themenectar.com/changelogs/salient.html
Also, remember to clear your browser cache after each update if you notice anything off. Old theme files can persist in your local cache and make you think something's wrong.
Also please see this FAQ: http://themenectar.ticksy.com/faq/2252 .

    Thanks

    Hey Mark!

Please make sure you have the force transparency option selected in the shop page meta options. Please see screenshot: http://prntscr.com/4ykia7

    Thanks

Thanx Tahir... But I do have that selected in both the Salient header options and on the page itself. Hmmmmmm....

Thanx again for all the support!

I see it works on Product pages, but not product-category pages.

I know this is an old post from 2014, is there any way of doing this with the current salient version?

i'd like to add transparent headers to the automaticlly generated woocommerce category pages.

    Hi there,

This is still not possible with the theme.

We will remind the developers about it so they can consider implementing it in future update to the theme.
The only workaround we can think of is a regular page with an image set in the page header area.

Then add the woocommerce products element from the page builder to the page and set it up to show one category of your products.

The transparent header should show if you have the options enabled in the salient options panel.
    Thanks.

    Hi Noah!

Any news about this? 'cause your suggestion involves creating a page for each category and it can be problematic and difficult to manage when I have 20, compared to automatic category pages

    Thank you

    @Co-Brains,

In the Latest Version of Salient, if you use the "Force Transparency" Feature on the Shop Page it will apply to all Woocommerce Category headers as well.

    Referring to these Metabox Options:

    Hi Tahir!

Thank you, that's great, good to know!

Unfortunately, for this project I need a different shop page header, so the menu should not be transparent.

I know this is an outstanding case, but is there a way to achieve that? If it wasn't there I can keep it with the default header.

    Thank you

One way that i can think of is to set the Shop Page to Transparent and then make it solid using CSS so all other archive pages are transparent by default.

    Thanks
