    Hi Salient Team,

I have a little but very annoying problem with the Google font »Lexend« in Salient.

As you can see on the Google fonts website the font »Lexend« has 8 weights. Unfortunately the Salient theme only shows the »old« Lexend fonts (from Deca to Zeta) with only one weight. Is there a way to update the query from Salient to Google fonts? I dont want to start with extra code in CSS and PHP to add some custom fonts which were easy available at Google fonts.

    Kind regards
    Studio Mikalo

    Hi There,

    Thanks for contacting us.

The font weights aren't available which is why the Different Font Styles are declared separately in the Article:https://themenectar.ticksy.com//article/9773 .

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.
In Fact the font is available on Google Fonts, but it only shows an old version in the salient theme.
So it seems to be a problem from the theme, i guess. Here is the link to the font:

    https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Lexend

But it doesnt appear in the theme – why?

    Thanks

    Hey Again,

Escalating this to the developer as this would likely require updating the Internal Font List.

    Thanks

    Hey Tahir,

Thanks for the information. I guess this would take a while?
So i will try the workaround from the first link written by Judith.
