hi - 2 quick ques (1) for testimonials - you add the row - once you add the image you cannot change that image? you would have to delete the entire row? and start with a new row? the images - once chosen - are static? (2) to change the speed of slides in NECTAR slider you advise to go to parameter autorotate on nectar slider short code which controls that . i.e. autorotate=550... now where exactly do i go to see the nectar slider short code so that i can change it? (3) I am having a developer build a \\\'doorway\\\' that is just a video of water moving and says enter AND THEN that takes you to homepage - as an idea - like a video doorway page - he is building this outside of salient - if he does this and I attach it to my salient site... will the entire site crash when salient updates? it is basically adding a \\\'doorway\\\' page to the homepage I am building - but i do not want it to interfere with salient - will it? THANK YOU - your theme is amazing, i am a novice but getting used to it
the image above is NOT my salient site - it was the inspiration to build a doorway on top of salient... but i do not want to break salient or interfere with updates... the developer said he could do it... but you guys built salient - will building a doorway like above that THEN takes you to salient be a dangerous thing?
Salient breaking after getting updated depends on how the developer codes it. Please ask him to make the changes to the child theme if he wishes to customize the theme code. If he is building something outside the theme then that should not break in theory.
