    First problem:

the result of my work is different than what I see in WPbakery frontend editor using the same device on the same browser. In editor text block and image are in the same row and even. In actual website text block and image are in different rows and have differnet sizes. Should it be like that? Why the actual outcome is different than what I see in the editor?

    Second problem:

Inner row minimum width doesnt work on my page. I want it to be just like in documentation but my image doesnt move an inch when I apply value in minimum with inner row setting.

    Hi There,

    Thanks for contacting us,

Please update to the Latest Salient Theme Version and check if it fixes this issue.

The current version of the theme is 13 and the current version of the page builder is 6.6. Salient versions older than v11 won't be compatible with WordPress 5.5.

Here's the documentation on the available methods for updating Salient: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/#methods Once you've updated that, the update for the included page builder will become available. Note that "Visual Composer" also renamed their plugin on Envato to "WPbakery page builder" a couple of years back.

Here's an update guide on what to expect when jumping many major releases at once: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/important-salient-update-for-new-envato-requirements/ take a read through before the update, as many things have changed.

To get a list of Bug Fixes and new Feature addons in the Latest Theme updates view change log here http://themenectar.com/changelogs/salient.html .

    Thanks.

    Hey Again,

Could you provide the login url as well. From the Live Browser it seems you have added left and right margin to the Column which is shifting the image to the next row, please remove it and check.

I deleted those margins and image is showing properly in the same row. Shouldn't those margins had shown up in frontend editor with shifted image before I deleted them?

Setting Minimum Width in Inner Row to 70vw moves image out of constrain (image 1) but setting it to 60vw or lower (image 2) keeps it in the same place and doesn't move it. Why?

I applied border to base column and inner column. The base border goes over the inner one (image 3). I searched through settings and can't make inner column to be over the base one (image 4). Is there a way to do it?

    Hey Again,

Unfortunately, certain Page Builder settings don't play well with each other. Could you try using our Pre-built Templates and find the one that is similar to what you are looking for : http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/salient-studio/ .

    Thanks

I want to learn how this editor works, so in the future I could change or build something if I need to. I checked templates to find and learn from similar example with borders but I didn't find one.

I applied border to base column and inner column. The base border goes over the inner one (image 3). I searched through settings and can't make inner column to be over the base one (image 4). Is there a way to do it?

The way I tried to do that is wrong, and I should change the layout of rows/inner rows to make it work, is there a setting I don't know of, is it a bug? Is it even possible to make something like that? please answer a question.

    Hey Again,

Could you provide the exact steps with which we can recreate the issue?.

I just logged in and am able to add borders to the Inner and Parent Columns correctly:

    Sorry for not responding quicker.

    1. I create row 1/1

    2. I create inner row 1/2 + 1/2 within base row

    3. I set border to base column 1/1

    4. I set second inner coulumn background image and check "Scale Background Image To Column"

    5. I apply border to the same inner column with background image

    6. I set minimum width to 70vw to inner row where the image is placed

    Hey Again,

The Minimum Width seems to be causing the issue, why are you adding it ?.

    Thanks
