    Hi there,

I have a custom post type that uses custom fields/taxonomies. I need to display some of this custom metadata at the top of the post page like the attached image (By (this is not the post author, it's a custom field called "By")/Date/Location/Topic.

From what I can tell, my screen options for this page should include a box called "Custom Fields" that I could use to add those fields here. However, I don't see that box. See this article for what I mean:

    https://www.hostpapa.com/knowledgebase/add-custom-meta-boxes-wordpress-posts/

Can you help, or is this a customization? I am willing to pay someone to get this figured out. Here is an example of the post pageĀ I'm trying to edit:

    Thanks!
    Cari

    Hi There,

Where exactly is the page you have referenced located, because we are seeing other post pages having the custom field:

    Thanks.

    Hi Judith,

I am looking for this field in the custom post type "Teachings." It is not appearing there, see screenshot. Thanks!

    Hi There,

I Realized that Teachings is not part of pages or posts recognized by salient and so it may not have all features as a post or a page that salient would tag onto all these features including custom fields.

    Thanks.
