In my native site (English) I'm able to create links that will go to a page and have a specific tab within that page open upon clicking. I cannot do that correctly with the translated sites.

Using my native language site as an example.

    Homepage -
    http://stagecraftcreative.com

There is a link "OUR FULL METHODOLOGY" that will take you to the SERVICES page with the METHODOLOGY tab selected / opened. The address for that link is this:

    Link page -
    http://stagecraftcreative.com/services/?tab=methodology

    It works brilliantly.

Now let's switch to the translated Spanish site, and attempt to do the same.

    Spanish Homepage -
    https://stagecraftcreative.com/?lang=es

I'm wanting the link labeled, "NUESTRA METODOLOGÍA COMPLETA" to go to this page:
    https://stagecraftcreative.com/servicios/?lang=es
but with the "Metodologia" tab opened upon clicking.

    Simply adding the

/servicios/?tab=Metodologia to the link doesn't work as it does in the native site.

    Please help or advise?

    Hey Again,

The Tab Titles need to be encoded as they have special characters: https://stagecraftcreative.com/es/servicios/?tab=Metodolog%C3%ADa

The links are generated by the titles like this : http://pasquales.bestwebsitesinwv.com/menu/?tab=dinner . For complex titles with special characters you will have to write the encoded url using the Browser Console window: http://prntscr.com/h7s3k2 .

    encodeURIComponent("Wine & Beer")

     http://pasquales.bestwebsitesinwv.com/menu/?tab=Wine%20%26%20Beer .

I have resolved the issue on my end. For the record, and for others that may have the same issue I will explain the situation more.

I am using the SALIENT THEME with the WPML plugin for my WordPress site. So I've been following all the settings and recommendations in building a site according SALIENT / ThemeNectar. I ran into the issue when I applied the WPML plugin. I couldn't get the links to work properly with the translated pages.

To resolve this issue I needed to go into the WordPress Dashboard > WPML then scroll to the "Language URL Format" section and select "Different languages in directories."

From there the way the URLs are created for the translated pages allows the standards of the SALIENT THEME links, parameters, anchors, etc. to work properly.
