I've been trying a few things for my portfolio images with no avail. I really would like for it to work exactly like the one in your tutorial video on youtube, however I do not see the option under Project Configuration for "Gallery Slider". I tried adding an image slider under the visual composer, and I'm having the hardest time making the images fit correctly to the slider so that they're not cut off or heavily pixelated. Any suggestions? I'm running wordpress version 4.0.
There are three gallery types to choose from in the VC options. Did you try the other ones. Also please see user-guide for standard image sizes : http://themenectar.com/docs/salient.pdf .
I have the same question too. In the YouTube video, there's a checkbox that allows you to make an inserted gallery a slider, but it appears the checkbox has since been removed from the UI.
