Hi, today I made the mistake of updating the Woocommerce plugin and it totally crashed my site. I cannot do anything, access anything anymore. I cannot even log out. Everything gets the "internal server error" message. I'm guessing (with my VERY limited knowledge) that it's a conflict with the Salient theme. Could I be right? And can you help plz?
Problem described above is "solved". I managed to delete the WP plugin and for now site's working again, but without the Woocommerce. I'm guessing there will be an update from your side and that installing the woocommerce plugin again after that should work fine? Have to add that my shop did not yet have any contents or customizations, which is why I chose to delete it.
If the initial problem was a corrupted htaccess file than it's unlikely that installing woocommerce again would cause it to happen again - unless your server is having problems creating the woocommerce permalink structure. If this happens again you could simply try it on a different theme to ensure this is only happening with Salient
