    Hi Salient Team,

I am working up a Salient site on localhost for now, photography-based, 13 galleries, one video page. I have 4 full width self hosted video files to place - H.264, AAC/file sizes anywhere from 50MB-215MB. When I add a self hosted video player and then click "add media file"  to add URL of an an mp4 video, I'm warned of the 8MB file size limit. Where can I change the limit and why is the limit so low? What am I not understanding about self hosting and embedding these videos - I don't think the option to do vimeo pro for these particular videos is going to be an option, but that's not really self hosting anyway.

    Thanks for your help

    Hi there,

This limitation is placed by your server and not by Salient. You will need to change the upload limit size of your server.

This guide may help you change this https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/product-guides/wordpress-hosting/how-to-increase-the-maximum-file-upload-size-in-wordpress/

If you have any issues with this, kindly contact your host for further assistance.
