    I would like to ask if it is possible to add captions to the photos shown in the lighbox.

    Hi There,

    If you want to add captions you out to use the 

    image grid or the parallax image grid gallery type as shown below:

    Thanks for the reply, but I have a question, is it possible to add a caption under the photo already in the lightbox itself?  I am looking for the following solution: we click on the photo, the photo opens in the lightbox and there is a text under the photo. Thank you.

    I am afraid, the captions do not appear on the lightboxes on the Salient theme.
