We are having a couple of issues with the Salient theme. Currently, it is displaying correctly on the live site: https://commonwealthinsure.com/ (Salient version 7.6, hosted on GoDaddy). However, the exact same site, which is on staging does not work: http://j4v.141.myftpupload.com/
I also set up another staging site here: https://www.shirkworx.com/dev/commonwealthinsure/ and upgraded to the latest version of the theme (I followed the upgrade instructions). If you compare both the live site and this site, you’ll notice differences in the main navigation. Again the only differences between these sites are the theme versions.
Furthermore, I did one more test and set up a local version of the site with the latest version of the theme and it also has the same display issues with the main navigation.
Lastly, with the latest version of the theme, it seems to load about 1-1.5 seconds slower.
Can you help us out? If you want, I can provide login credentials to our sites.

The Latest Update of Salient has Alot more features than before therefore you would need to adjust the new settings for it to work correctly.

Also try using the Optimization plugins recommended in this Article http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/performance-optimization-guide/ and check if that makes a difference .
