Newest Visual Composer Version

I assume the answer is yes, but is the newest version of VC included with Salient 4.5.22?

I am asking because my other sites with VC have updated  to new interface with edit, duplicate, and trash in the center and bright green.

I have seen the prompt to update to the new version on the site I'm working on, but when I choose to update, it doesn't.

I have deleted the wp-bakery folder, downloaded a fresh copy of Salient, and updated just that folder.

Is there a way to force VC to update to the new layout (assuming it's bundled with Salient.)

Additionally, I have been experiencing issues in VC with dragging and dropping rows. Not so much with the elements in a row.

    Thank you

    Hey Nick!

the Salient VC is a forked version of Visual Composer and doesn't have all the same features of the raw plugin. If you wish to use that you must first deactivate the Salient VC inside of the theme options panel

    Cheers

I see.  If I disabled it, would I then need purchase VC and use it like a regular plugin?

The new VC version is a big improvement (IMO), do you for see integrating it with Salient?  BTW, your VC element section window is the best. The blue on black is real nice and clean.

Oh, while I'm on the topic.

Can you make it so the divider value (px) as well as the type (ie; "no line") can be seen without entering the edit window?  I attached a picture of another theme that has this option and it makes moving dividers around more efficient, since they often have different gap sizes.

Thanks again for all you do.

    Hey again!

It's possible that the salient VC will be upgraded, it's just that the front end aspect of VC wouldn't play nice with a few of Salients elements. Also yes you would indeed need to purcahse a standalone copy to use it.

Thanks for the suggestion in regards to the divider :)

    Cheers
