So when you click on the portfolio thumbnail (with the portfolio element added on a "classic" page), instead of going to the link of the portfolio element and changing the webpage, you stay and the webpage is visible in lightbox.
I'm ok with the fact that the "portfolio" element options can use the lightbox to display only the images.
But, on Mike's portfolio (images in attachment if it works), after I've checked some of the HTML code, he seems to use lightbox, on images (kind of portfolio grid style), and the links of these images are html pages (see image 1). And when you click on the images, it opens the link in a lightbox (see image 2).
My question remains if there' any way to add to the theme, some codes, plugins or something else, to create this kind of design?
Beyond this thread, I keep searching, if I find something I'll will share the results, but if someone already know, it would be nice to gain some research time ^^.

I sill have some issues with lightbox (Magnific), conflicts with the "closing" events of the popup created with the plugin.
When you open an image with lightbox by clicking on it in a popup, it shows the image over the popup (be careful with the z-index parameter) so that's cool. But then you can click outside of the image to close the lightbox (like you usually do with any image opened with a lightbox) but it also close the popup.
Anyway, I'm still working on it but so far, it works as planned so thanks a lot!
