I would like to know if anyone knows how to "connect" single images of a same page by adding a next and previous button without using the "gallery" element.
More explanations : let us say that we have a page, with several images and texts. So we have an image, some text, then an other image etc.
When we click on an image, it opens a lightbox (currently, I'm using "Magnific"), and we want a next button to see directly the next image, that is further away down in the page. (We are currently using "single image" element to insert those images)
The problem with the gallery is that all the images are next one to another and here, we need to separate them but still want to be able to see the next image without closing the previous one, scrolling down and click on the next one (so by using a next and previous button).
(adding a class or something could help? or a plugin compatible with the theme?)
In summary, having single images linked like a gallery, without using gallery.

Thanks for reading!
Hey Again,
This would likely have to be custom coded as the Salient Theme has no such feature available.
Thanks

Hi Tahir!
Thanks for your reply.
I'm gonna make some tests but I'll keep the thread open for a little longer just in case someone already has an external solution.
Have a good day ;)
