    1. I raised all my PHP file restrictions.

    2. I ran the demo install for the one-page.

    3. The demo install works, but NO media came in with it.

    4. No images, no sliders, when I look in the MEDIA folder in WP, there is literally nothing in it.

    Hey Ken,

    Thanks for using Salient. 

    You have imported the Legacy Demo which does not include images. Try importing the other ones and check.
