I run into an issue pretty often when setting up sites with the salient theme. I end up needing more extra colors within the Salient tab. For example an Extra Color #4 or #5 would be helpful. I haven't found a fix for this, I end up just making a small text document with all the color values associated with the brand.
My suggestion is to add the option to add more colors or increase the current extra colors to something around 8 total.
