Silent Theme - Social Icons and header alignment not working

Hi! I'm trying to resolve an issue for a client who is using your theme (awesome theme, by the way), but he has problems with the header menu. If you take a look, the social icons are in the header but are invisible and I can't find the reason. How can I make them visible?

Also, if I disable the "social icons" in the header, there is still an empty area pushing the items to the left and making the logo looking above the items if the screen is small.

I temporary fixed that, setting the mobile breakpoint to a large value, but I want to know how to fix this. Why the menu items are aligned to the left if I have the logo in that position and there's a lot of free space in the right? even with the social icons .

    Thank you very much!

    Hey franktic ,

Could you adjust the settings so we can view the issue in our browser and try to correct it ?.

    Thanks

    Hi Tahir!
I just reversed the settings, so if you go to the site now, will see the logo going above the menu and the items aligned to the left with the empty space at the right (in which are the icons).

Also, I noticed that if I set my main menu as "Top Navigation Menu Pull Right", the alignment looks well, but then, the menu on mobile disappear. If I set my main menu as "Top Navigation Menu", it looks with bad alignment on desktop but at least it shows on mobile. This is the way I have it right now because of the major visits come from mobile.

Please, if you know what can be the reason of that, tell me.

    Hey Again,

I can't seem to view the Social Icons at the moment?. Also, you seem to use a Child Theme which could cause this.

    Thanks

You Right, I just reactivated the original theme and the menu is aligned again. I will figure out what's happening with the child theme.

And yes, the social icons are invisible, that's one of the problems I was talking about. But they are in the menu. If you hover the mouse in the white space, you'll notice they are there, you can even click on them.

Also, the problem with the mobile menu is still happening with the original theme. I mean, this problem: "I noticed that if I set my main menu as "Top Navigation Menu Pull Right", the menu on mobile disappear."

What do you think could be the problem?

    Hi Franktic,

Please update the salient theme to the latest version 14 using this guide:https://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/ and see whether it helps.

    Thanks.

I'm afraid that this is not possible because the theme was purchased by another person, who installed the theme on the site. I'm trying to fixing the errors because the former webmaster is gone. I will try to find the .zip anyway, but I'm almost sure that the client doesn't have it

    Hey Again,

In that case please purchase a new Regular License and update the Theme using the Envato Market Plugin.

Please update to the Latest Salient Theme Version.

The current version of the theme is 14 and the current version of the page builder is 6.7. Salient versions older than v11 won't be compatible with WordPress 5.5.

Here's the documentation on the available methods for updating Salient: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/#methods Once you've updated that, the update for the included page builder will become available. Note that "Visual Composer" also renamed their plugin on Envato to "WPbakery page builder" a couple of years back.

Here's an update guide on what to expect when jumping many major releases at once: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/important-salient-update-for-new-envato-requirements/ take a read through before the update, as many things have changed.

To get a list of Bug Fixes and new Feature addons in the Latest Theme updates view change log here http://themenectar.com/changelogs/salient.html .

    Best.
